The Dixie Classic Fair!

On Saturday we went to the Dixie Classic Fair in Winston-Salem, NC. We went with Dustin's family, and it was so fun!! We got to do all of the fun things that we look forward to every year. It was fun to look at all the exhibits, see the livestock, ride lots of crazy rides, and eat lots of food. We enjoyed John Deere ice cream, fresh apple cider, fries, an elephant ear, pizza, and more... It was so good! You can't beat eating lots of junk food and then spinning in circles on the Himalaya.

Looking down at Dustin's Dad (who had just arrived after work) from the Ferris Wheel.
A cute little monkey at one of the animal shows we got to see.
The "Swifty Swine" pig races!!
This little pig actually leaps into a tub of water and swims accross to the other side!
I love ferris wheel pictures...
Dustin and Pops on the Thunder Bolt. That was a fun ride!
Kayla was the winning cheer-leader at the pig race, so she got a piggy keychain that does this when you squeeze it. Eww...
Kayla and Mom on the Ferris Wheel with the city of Winston Salem in the background.
On the Hang Glider! This ride was so fun. It feels like you're flying!
We could have ridden this one several more times. It was great.
Dustin and Kayla rode the Rok-N-Roll. They spun upside down while going in circles. I don't like rides that flip you over, so I chickened out. I was glad I did though... they were both pretty green when they got off.

On my favorite ride: the Himalaya! Mom and Aunt Donna at the pig races.
