E-mails from South America

Here are parts of the e-mails that I have recieved from Dustin (minus the personal stuff). I will continue to post them as I get them. If you're interested in hearing the details of the trip, check back every day or two... Hopefully I'll have some great pictures to post when Dustin gets home. I'm praying that he'll be able to call me tomorrow or the next day when they go to a different city. Please continue to pray for me too this week. Thank you all so much!

Saturday Night
We are in equador. We arrived safely and the flights were great. We have met tim´s contacts and they are very loving and kind. we ate at a mcdonalds and it was delicious. We have a whole lot of people praying for us. This might be the only way i can get in touch with you for the next couple of days. so be sure to check it every night probably around eleven.

Sunday Night
I am here now at enermo´s house (juans brother). Today was huge. We got up at around six after going to bed at almost one in the morning. We woke up and had breakfast (Eggs, bread and some form of local fruit spread, hot coco) Then we went to enermo´s church and went to something like sunday school that the pastor lead. We were under the impression that he was not in favor of the manual. After this he taught a lesson from second hessitations on some diagram about the four past of our being. very weird. however after this the pastor and his wife invited us to lunch and wanted tim to start the manual at 3 o´clock. The pastor seemed to be very kind and helped to serve everyone. We had green banana soup and some chicken and i think rice. they offered lettuce but it probably had been washed in the water so we did not partake. overall the meal was pretty good. After this tim prepared for his lesson and began with his translator who was nearly fluent. the lesson went great and aparently the pastor wants to come with us to puyo which is four hours away! So i guess he supports the manual now. we will be staying here for two more days and then leaving for puyo which is juans home. i cannot believe i am in ecuador. there is such a great need here as in most of the south american churches to be revived with the Gospel. i have taken some great pictures and cannot wait to show you. our schedules are so crazy and are according to this families schedule that i cannot stay on the cpu. but i will write you when i can and will have to find some other form of communication in puyo. please continue to pray for me everyday, i´m not sure how much help I can really give here. i think my two main purposes after seeking His glory would be encouraging tim and learning from this trip. maybe there will be more for me to do in Puyo.
