Please pray for me too... last night was definitely the most difficult. It feels like half of my heart just isn't there (I know... very sappy). I think I will be better if I can just hear his voice. It's weird to just be pen-pals with your husband! I have a whole new compassion for military families who go without their men for months. I cannot imagine what that would be like.
PS: Dustin is writing as quickly as possible because he is on another person's computer, which is the reason for all the typos.
Monday
I cannot possibly describe to you all that is going on here but I will try. I will begin from the morning. we woke up around 6 this morning, but had plenty of sleep. Tim played sudoku and i listened to adrian rodgers going to sleep. We woke up and ate breakfast with guillermo´s family (enermo) we had tortillas de juevos. last night we had chicken and it was the best meal yet by the way. after breakfast we went with guillermo as he went to work and he dropped us of at the church where we traveled around the streets and to the mall. we did not have to be at the church until three thirty so this gave tim and me a great chance to talk about the manual and enjoy the scenery. their mall was huge; four stories high with mcdonalds kfc (lunch) abercrombie and fitch baskin robbins, and a few other american stores. after eating at the mall we walked the streets and we went to a coffee shop and the cafe´of course was great. the streets of quito are colorful and full of stores. we went into a few markets but tim said the prices were high. it started to rain pretty good and i ended up buying a jacket (water proof) for $10!!!! it is pretty nice - blue with two grey stripes. well we got to the church at 2:30 unaware that we weren´t supposed to be there until 3:30. well the first meeting started at three. most of the ladies from the previous meeting showed up and tim shared the second half with them. this meeting was supposed to end at 5 but the pastors wife asked us to stay until 6, would this happen in america? all of the women were participating, they saw the need of their church and they spoke this in front of the pastor and the pastor agreed. the most amzing thing though was when the pastor asked tim as well as myself to come back and explain this to other churches! He gets it, and the church gets it! God is moving!!! the pastor asked tim and i specifically if we would come back in january but tim is not available until march.
